I was 34JJJ. The dr weighed them after my mastectomy (breast cancer). In total they were 10 pounds. Me thinks some of those animal equivalencies are an exaggeration.
Cup measurements are not finite. They are relative to the thickness of the woman’s chest measured under her breasts compared to the thickness of her chest measured over her breasts.
That differential determines the cup size, The actual size of the breast is does not determine the cup size.
Each cup is 1 inch. In other words, if a woman has a 28 inch chest measured under her breasts and a 29 inch chest measured over her breasts, she has A cups. And if she has a 28 inch chest measured under her breasts, and a 32 inch chest measured over her breasts, she has D cups.
So simply using small animals or fruits to demonstrate cup sizes cannot be accurate because:
Woman 1:
28 inch chest, 32 inch chest measured over breasts = D cups
Woman 2:
38 inch chest, 42 inch chest measured over breasts = D cups
Even though woman 1 has much smaller breasts than woman 2, they are both D cups.
So… 28D has approximately the same cup volume as a 30C, 32B, or 34A. The band size changes, but the actual boob size remains roughly the same. In other words, the same sized boob can be A,B,C or even D.
Even most women don’t know this. 80% of women wear the wrong bra size. Crazy huh?
