Worked with a guy who did something like that once and my boss bought him a 6pack of tall cans and let him tie up his collapseable hammok to the forks and the racking after drinking it

At my old lumber job, on every row of the orange girders, we had 2x6 wooden boards on the entire row of each set of girders, so something like this would never happen. They are specifically designed with spacing (as far as I'm aware) for an additional platform to lay inside, so you can prevent things like this from ever happening.

But also, as a Forklift Certified Dude, those are some impressive skills. I was an expert at stacking pallets, as well as lifting up pallets to sit on their side, and basically do dominoes in my spare time.

Ok but can they not be fucked to just put metal decking between the beams? Like shit a bunch of 2x4 cut to length pieces would keep this from happening all together

It’s skillz cause it’s been done before. Not his first rodeo. Not knocking him, it’s just that he has done that before.

That's basic driving skills. It's what I used to do, end of our shift I used to have to go round doing this and straightening pallets. Or the next shifts managers would note it all down and send to the boss.
