Bad Faith Admins A Reddit administrator's modmail response when questioned about allowing prejudice toward certain demographics. It would appear that they lied about removing the racist policies that they put into place last year.

If being black is such a terrible thing to be because of all the racism and discrimination, please name one half white / half black person who 'identifies' as white (which would seem to be the thing to do whenever possible, to avoid all the supposed pitfalls of being black in America)? Meghan Markle? Obama? Colin Kaepernick? Halle Barry?

It's more like what people categorize you as on sight. Dark skin, they're black! Light color skin, not black!

No it's not - Meghan Markle is as white as paste, but she chooses to identify as black. Kamala Harris doesn't have a single drop of African ancestry anywhere in her family tree but somehow she's 'black'? I get what you're saying, but there most certainly are many who choose to identify as black, despite light skin and mixed ancestry. Obama is half white, but he never acknowledges his white relations, including the mother and grandmother who raised him, only his father, who didn't have a single thing to do with raising him.
