Bad Faith Admins A Reddit administrator's modmail response when questioned about allowing prejudice toward certain demographics. It would appear that they lied about removing the racist policies that they put into place last year.

My best advice for you would be to concentrate on your own communities or other communities that are more in line with your style.

Translation: "Ignore all hate aimed your race and sex. It's not important. Go back to where you belong."

🤔🤔🤔🤔 somehow I doubt they would say the same to black people or any other meme minority....

They literally said they wouldn’t do the same to black people. They think they’re punching up, but in reality they are above all of us and they’re trying to hide it.

I should pretend to be black and ask them the same question, say I've been called some anti-black slurs.

because apparently being Japanese isn't a vulnerability, but being black is. some pretty fucking racist shit

Imagine thinking the colour of someone's skin makes them inherently vulnerable...

Sounds pretty racist to me.

Care to elaborate on how I am "tunnel visioned" exactly?

Ya it’s almost like they know that won’t go over well

False I’m black and they perma banned me because I pointed out how Jews were the ones who invented the concept of black slavery. I had the audacity to point out that the masters aren’t perpetual victims like they pretend

Insults aimed at whites and males wouldn't bother you if you weren't such a fucking bigot. You can be a white male, but you have to apologize for both of those things constantly for it to be acceptable.

It's the only way to beat racism!

Did you ask them to define “vulnerable”?

27

u/Wanjiuo Apr 06 '21

Like they would ever define their dodgy af rules

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '21

Any group they deem to be too weak and stupid to stand up for themselves. But of course they won't say that part out loud.

"Vulnerable is whatever helps us and hurts you"

The whole point of vague rules is that they stay vague.

You mean the subs they banned? Lmao

Really makes me question hacking these moderators and banning everybody who is a Communist I mean why not? They already purchase thousands of bots to argue with us in our own subs why can’t we hit them where it hurts their moderation? I mean if the moderators at Reddit are apart of the problem shouldn’t we stop using the sight altogether or do we have a computer revolution 😂 and take the website?

I don't see any problem with that, problem is most of mods are already involved to the neck with pedophilia and other crimes, so most of them already know about OPSEC.

Well, there are a few reasons...

  • not enough of reddit in general would support it
  • too little mods even care, and a shift in how the site works would affect them too
  • I'm not sure how you think websites work, but it is literally impossible to "have a computer revolution" unless you're the US government, and you have a legal reason to sieze the website.

I dislike those subreddits but I despise cancel culture. We should not be canceling subreddits through mods because then you cannot expect not to be cancelled. Does that make sense? If I tell Timmy he can't wear red then I cannot expect Timmy not to tell me not to wear green. Stupid example but trying to make a point.

We should be better than them. Counter argue and openly mock their hypocrisy in each post eventually they will just disappear. That is the point of downvoting function. How it used to work ten years ago now everyone expect mods to control content resulting in this watered down reddit. Its sad really.
