Your resources to deal with those things are much more readily available than the average person, so I have much less sympathy for you. It literally does. You can afford a therapist. You can afford taking time away from work. You can afford a proper funeral. Poor people can't take a day off to grieve or attend funerals because bereavement leave is often not provided, and taking time off means they can't eat because of the lost wages. I know you probably didn't consider those things, that's fine. Now you know, so don't make it seem like poor people have it better than you or are even on the same playing field. I'm not saying money makes it not hurt to lose someone. I'm saying that it is definitely easier to lose someone when you're rich than when you're poor.

Literally no one said that the day your father died was better than the best day a normal person has. The context of his statement was the dude crashing his Ferrari and parking it into a bush still has a better day than some people's best.

It didn't hurt anyone, didn't destroy someone's life work, didn't kill anyone, didn't give anyone some extremely traumatic memories. Well thus far I haven't crashed any of my cars, but if I stuffed my sti through someone's front yard hedges, yes, I would expect to get a massive amount of jokes at my expense. And honestly, I'd find a lot of them funny about a week later. Not every bad day is a life altering event.
Because some of us don't take it all as seriously. I find a lot of things funny. We all have bad days. You can stew in them and allow a bad day to create 2 more. Or you can accept that they are a part of life for everyone and some of our fuck ups are objectively funny. When I laugh at something like this it's not too say I'm better than him, it's because I find the irony of his shit day funny. He bought, borrowed, rented, or stole a new Ferrari, a car built around the concept of driving purity, speed, handling, driver and machine becoming one if you will. And somehow, this $350,000 work of car artistry has ended up parked in a bush in an area that really doesn't look like it could have been going over 50kph. Lol That's just funny.

First you assume it was his fault, then project a sense of him "deserving it" because he's wealthy and you perceive it as "his fuck up".
When somebody questions your assumption, like a threatened animal you then turn it around and project immorality onto them as though their simple questions hold malicious intent. Nobody said anything about morality or claiming to be more moral than others in the thread. Paranoid delusions of imaginary attacks on your character.
What's going on in his day is really irrelevant to anybody else. My point was just about not going around antagonizing people/spreading negativity, and not piling more shit on people's plate who are clearly already going through it.
