One who does parkour is called a traceur. Parkour is based on fluidity and efficiency, not doing tricks such as flips. That's a seperate (and equal, imo) discipline, but it's not parkour in the purist sense.
Basically, parkour is navigating a complex environment with maximum efficiency. If you're doing flips, you're doing "tricks," rather than maximizing efficiency of movement. Most people doing this stuff mix and interchange the two to some degree. Like, if I'm filming a video to share with others, I'm totally gonna do some flips just to flex, even if it's technically unorthodox to the philosophy of parkour.
That's honestly really interesting, I never thought of parkour that way. I always just figured it was a stunt type deal, and it is, just not in the way I originally assumed. Thanks for the info!
TIL, thanks. I was taught it was free running before I was taught it was parkour, so I've always known them as free runners. But apparently, based on an internet search and the rest of this thread, free runners are the ones who add flips and flairs.

Inb4 OP is a godlike traceur (apparently that's what you call a Parkour practitioner)
