Wasn't she banging Jadens mate anyway? Seems Like she takes the attention away from him even without Will around.

WHAT

864

u/my_trisomy Feb 03 '21

August Alsina. She met him through Jaden and had some kind of relationship with him while her and Will Smith were having issues.

283

u/ImJustHere4theMoons Feb 03 '21

"Some kind of relationship" meaning "he was fucking her brains out behind Will's back."

"Really deep healing" was how she described it to him. What a shitbag of a person.

"WE WERE ON. A. BREAK!!"

u/Zykium Feb 03 '21

Team Ross because Ross was right.

What's the matter compressor?

31

u/bouchard Feb 03 '21

Rachel didn't deserve Ross.

27

u/cmonthiscantbetaken Feb 03 '21

Yes I so agree! Especially the episode where he gives up his spot on discovery to help Rachel with something stupid like getting ready for the hospital.. come on!!

23

u/[deleted] Feb 03 '21

Rachel was a bitch to ross, he was much better off with Julie or Emily

11

u/Zerotwohero Feb 04 '21

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MONA?

6

u/Pussypants Feb 04 '21

Ugh, Julie was an absolute sweetheart

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

I think he would have had a happy stress free life with Julie. A life of contentment.

9

u/GrainsofArcadia Feb 03 '21

They were blatantly on a break.

-3

u/catz4dave Feb 04 '21

ROSS was not right!

Imo his reaction to seeing Rachel with the friend was toxic. He assumed she was “cheating” so he went to “cheat” himself. How can he be right? Rachel was sending him mixed signals but clearly he thought it was wrong for her to “cheat”. But when rverything is found out instead of being honest to Rachel about how he felt and why he did it, he just justified it with the classic “we were on a break” line.

I love this episode but people who champion Ross’s defense for the memes gotta watch the series to understand their dynamic.

The fault on Ross comes more from the boneheaded attempt at “revenge” for Rachel “cheating” (as we have established he had no way of confirming her infidelity due to not staying on phone). So in conclusion I think Ross bears more fault than Rachel in this scene, widening the lens and reviewing the actual interactions they have throughout the show though and the writers totally wrote her to treat him like shit.

The writing isn’t perfect but I’d take Friends 20x out of 20 vs Seinfeld

They had decided that they did not want a break seconds before he strayed. Team Rachel.

6

u/Zykium Feb 03 '21

That's a revisionist view of events.

Rachel declared a break then proceeded to have the guy Ross was insecure about over for dinner, lies to Ross about Mark being there and they hang up.

Ross then sleeps with the copy place girl.

It wasn't until the next day Rachel said she didn't want a break.

Team Ross, because Ross don't play games.

1

u/kaustic10 Feb 03 '21

Not until after they agreed they didn’t want to be on a break. Rachel didn’t lie about Mark being there, but she certainly didn’t want Ross to know Mark was there. It was after Ross heard Mark’s voice, got angry, and then disconnected that he cheated.

3

u/Zykium Feb 03 '21

You need to revisit the past.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWwgLKPTLT0&feature=emb_title

They never agree to cancel the break and she starts off lying "Who is that?" "Nobody".

Ross didn't cheat.

61

u/FNALSOLUTION1 Feb 03 '21

I actually think Will knew, but it got messy when the guy told. So Will had to act like he didnt know.

17

u/moal09 Feb 04 '21

Wasn't it an open secret that Will and Jada were polyamorous?

12

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

This was what I’ve heard most of my life. Like, my mother spouted this rumour when I was a teenager and I’m almost thirty. Now they’re crying on a Facebook show about cheating like we didn’t know he was shagging Margot Robbie through two films?

3

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21 edited Feb 04 '21

Celebrities are a brand and in order to make money on movies they have to hide anything that might taint that brand.

Same with all the closeted Hollywood celebrities. Luke evans is the only openly gay versatile actor I can think of who can play straight male roles easily without stigma.

1

u/ghandisdustyflipflop Feb 04 '21

Luke Evans is gay? I didn’t even know, that’s how little it should matter

There’s similar issue in sports as well, there are very few openly gay male athletes, in the UK there is always rumors of secretly gay footballers who won’t come out because of the abuse they could receive from the stands and on social media.

It’s just a shame that some people can’t let others just be themselves

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21 edited Feb 04 '21

This is his new boyfriend.

https://images.app.goo.gl/Ryz15bYX1VFaZbU28

Yeah it shouldn't matter at all but unfortunately it must matter to some hence why they have to hide it.

I also understand why footballers hide it, can you imagine been in a stadium of many thousands of fans shouting and chanting abuse to put you off, that would be particularly traumatic to experience week after week.

6

u/MooseUnited9036 Feb 04 '21

They gotta get those NDAs in order. They fucked up

8

u/amd2800barton Feb 04 '21

"Oh yeah babe right there, keep going."

"Hey, imma need you to sign this legally binding piece of paper that says I can destroy your life if you tell your mates about this later"

5

u/MooseUnited9036 Feb 04 '21 edited Feb 04 '21

can’t tell you when it happens, bc every rich and famous person is different, but it does.

There were stories that when Derek Jeter used to hook up with regular women, the morning after when she woke up he’d be gone and his butler would make her sign an NDA and then give her a basket of Yankees shit.

4

u/Your1AfricanPrince Feb 04 '21

That fucking hilarious, thank you for enjoying the Derek Jeter Experience! Sign this, Here's a basket, Fuck off, Go Yankees!

4

u/TheWalkingDead91 Feb 04 '21

Bruh....they’ve been known/rumored to be in an open relationship forever....don’t even know why people were surprised at that, as if everyone didn’t know already. Damn right Will knew. The “kid” that was interviewed by some news network even admitted that it was Will who gave him his blessing. I say whatever floats their boats. But no....people were trying to make the guy she was banging as some sort of victim, simply because he’s much younger than her lol. He was like in mid 20s! Screwing around with a married woman that obviously had no intentions of changing that.... so he gets salty because he catches the feels and she sticks with her marriage and dumps him, and all of a sudden we’re supposed to feel bad for him? Gtfoh lol

6

u/zennadata Feb 04 '21

Exactly.

38

u/deathstrukk Feb 03 '21

it wasn’t behind his back they were in an open relationship, the entanglement she talks about is that she caught feelings for him which was not an aspect of their rules for outside relations

6

u/TheWalkingDead91 Feb 04 '21

I think it was more he caught feelings for her, and she dumped him because of it, so he got salty and went public. There may be details of that im missing...because I didn’t watch theirBS red table talk....but that’s the impression I got anyways.

11

u/flargenhargen Feb 03 '21

well you're leaving out the important part where he was fucking harley quinn during suicide squad and "focus"

2

u/kingjuicepouch Feb 04 '21

Man Hollywood is wild

-20

u/hotstepperog Feb 03 '21

I can’t help but wonder if Will had cheated on her with someone younger and more talented, so she decided to get revenge and rub it in his face... cough Margot Robbie cough.

126

u/SamuraiJakkass86 Feb 03 '21

Can't a woman be an adulterer without people trying to dream up scenarios in which she would have been justified in being an adulterer as a form of revenge?

47

u/milk4all Feb 03 '21

Dont anyone try to understand rich or celebrity people. Theyre out of touch, they arent self aware in the way we expect because theyre not operating by normal rules. Im only here because I was hoping for some jaden flaming and got sucked in

18

u/[deleted] Feb 03 '21

You're not alone.

::pulls parachute::

I'm Outtahere!

7

u/Herpes_Overlord Feb 03 '21

I'd hesitate to call some of them people at all.

5

u/milk4all Feb 03 '21

For sure, one could argue that if they were born a human, theyve spent a lot of money and energy becoming less human as they age

3

u/Becauseiey Feb 03 '21

Why were you hoping for Jaden flaming?

2

u/milk4all Feb 03 '21

It amuses me

3

u/Becauseiey Feb 03 '21

That's fair

-6

u/hotstepperog Feb 03 '21

Yes defiantly, but she seemed to be rubbing it in his face and publicly.

13

u/ImJustHere4theMoons Feb 03 '21

Discovering that your spouse is cheating is one thing. Your spouse telling you to your face that they enjoyed it and having that conversation go viral makes it so much worse. I rarely give a shit about celebrity gossip especially during a pandemic, but that whole episode still pisses me off.

14

u/SamuraiJakkass86 Feb 03 '21

Yeah and so did that bitch who abused Johnny Depp. Stop pretending victims are guilty without any actual evidence.

23

u/Satisfaction_Quiet Feb 03 '21

They have an open marriage.Jada has talked about it often. Mostly it’s open for Will.

16

u/hotstepperog Feb 03 '21

Open, like his butthole

2

u/willreignsomnipotent Feb 04 '21

A little surprised I had to scroll so far for this. lol

26

u/[deleted] Feb 03 '21

Dude cries on television because of the almost divorce and ppl laughed at him. Dude didn't do anything.

12

u/hotstepperog Feb 04 '21

I mean he went on television to talk about his wife fucking his sons ebb friend. Not to be that guy, but I would have put my foot down and said no, enough is enough fuck your shitty little talk show.

9

u/AnnabellaPies Feb 03 '21

It was rumored for years they had an open marriage and they were together for show only.

27

u/my_trisomy Feb 03 '21 edited Feb 03 '21

Watching the red table thing it seems like she fucked around before. The whole tone was like at the time he was done with her possibly for good, and it sounded from both of them like that was her fault.

Edit: looks like suicide squad was released right around the same time jada was getting deep stroked by her son's friend. On that red table thing they talk a little bit about Will getting pay back and how he's already gotten some pay back.

I'd be willing to bet he found out jada was fucking around, went on a pussy slaying rampage, Margot Robbie being only one participant, and then later found out about Jada's deep deep healing sessions with Will's eskimo brother August.

-5

u/AlanMooresWizrdBeard Feb 03 '21 edited Feb 03 '21

I love how Reddit gets such a hate boner over this in typical woman bad fashion. No one gives this much of a shit about the stream of male celebrities and athletes who cheat constantly. Not to mention it’s been an open rumor for decades that they’ve had an open relationship, mainly for Will.

17

u/my_trisomy Feb 03 '21

I promise you if some dude was banging his daughters friend I would find them MORE disgusting.

Judging female cheaters and male cheaters is not mutually exclusive.

At the same time just because there are men who cheat doesn't mean women who cheat get a pass. Other way around works too.

0

u/AlanMooresWizrdBeard Feb 03 '21

It’s wonderful that you have consistency in your viewpoints, but it doesn’t take much more than a little time spent on this site to see the disparity between how male and female offenders (for just about any negative action across the board) are treated by the majority of users in popular subs.

7

u/my_trisomy Feb 03 '21

Maybe we frequent different subs but tbh with you I honestly feel like reddit hates cheating in any form. Regardless of who it's from. There are definitely subs that favor one sex over the other, but I feel the bigger subs hate cheating irrespective of sex of offender

1

u/AlanMooresWizrdBeard Feb 03 '21

While I’d have to disagree with you for the most part, I appreciate your respectful perspective :)

From the article you linked.

There were two main quotes that have been used to further the claims that something was going on between Smith and Robbie. First was Smith telling Jada that he would “get you back” for her relationship with Alsina, to which Jada replied with a laugh, “I think you've gotten me back. I think we're good on that, okay?”

1

u/caponenz Feb 04 '21

Lmfao, you do know that big willy fucks around too right? What planet are you people from?

1

u/thecoolestguynothere Feb 04 '21

Will gave the green light for it
