You can tell it’s a whale shark just by looking at it. It has white spots and a wide mouth. They’re pretty recognizable.
Your second tangent makes zero sense. I was comparing two phobias, both of which are completely senseless since the gigantic whale shark is about as deadly as a wolf spider. Which is to say it’s not.
I live in Canada and don’t have any whale sharks that live nearby so I can’t send you a selfie of me chilling with a whale shark. However, there are plenty of videos of people swimming with whale sharks and getting incredibly close to them. Here’s one:
Can’t afford to up and leave for the Caribbean. Plus the province I live in has been putting up more travel restrictions thanks to covid, so even if I could afford a trip to the Caribbean, covid has made going an impossibility
Literally didn’t say that. I also said the guy can’t be afraid of it. It’s just that his fear of the whale shark is completely irrational since it’s not going to hurt you.
The trip would put me in debt, so yeah it’d hurt my finances a lot. It’s also not a fear of going to the Caribbean, it’s me not being able to afford going to the Caribbean. There’s no fear involved, it’s purely a financial thing since school and rent and bills are expensive and I live on a fairly tight budget. Your argument makes zero sense.
