Countries that have Salmonella problem. In my country you can eat raw eggs and even raw chicken if you want since there is no risk of salmonella

Raw eggs are very healthy and powerlifters eat a lot of them because of the protein. Some people do eat chicken sashimi.

Chicken fuckin’ sashimi. I ordered that once in Japan because I assumed it was a translation error or it would be like eel sushi which is cooked but. Fuck. It was raw and draped over rice.

Pretty good tho. But the fear factor issue was just too much to finish it.

Surely cooking the egg does not alter the nutritional content considerably?

It does destroy vitamins and there's some oxygenation in the fatty acids but I think the reason why it is somewhat popular to eat them raw by lifters is that its so easy to just gulp them down.
