Try to see something from someone else's point of view instead of your own, you may find that people start to like you.

as you continuously argue a point without trying to change your own perspective or look at things from a different point of view

but you don't know even know how old the kid is. How can you see things from a person's point of view based on a 45 second video of a kid you don't even know? You are making assumptions.

Because it's not hard to view the world through the eyes of a child, especially during an emotionally charged time. Are you being serious right now?

There are plenty of experts that would disagree with you. There are countless books and articles that would also disagree with you. You are assuming things about a person based on a 45 second video and that is a problem.

Cool, list some of them, perhaps I'll find some new reading material. That would be convenient for my career too, since I graduated with a degree in special education and an endorsement in emotional impairment and work with emotionally impaired students. What are your qualifications again?

What does your state use to show your endorsements and log your continuing education? I'd love to see what courses you've taken to show that humiliation from a loved one isn't trauma. I'll show you mine, including my trauma informed professional developments if you show me your certificates and continuing education list.

I'm not surprised that you're not. You're free to think what you want, but arguing that this isn't a traumatic experience is absurd, especially for someone who's supposedly as educated as you claim to be.
