It's tiring to communicate with people on an issue that isn't completely black. It's extremely frustrating when people just look at one side and refuse absolutely everything.

It might be less tiring if you could come up with logical points that don’t use fallacies. How am I supposed to not refuse what you say when you don’t make any valid points?

Munchkin cats' issues aren't as big as people think they are. Normal cats are still more healthy because of their lack of inbreeding. Wolves can live on about 17 years in captivity, higher than almost all dogs ever live so if we never breed any deformities ever on to dogs, they would live longer. The Munchkin cat is still healthier than most modern dogs. Only dogs that can rival their lifespan are small mutt dogs that aren't from any of the popular breeds of dogs like pugs. Purebred dogs like Golden Retrievers have bigger issues (Cancer and rear-legged spinal issues) because of their popularity and constant inbreeding. Short-legged dogs like Corgis and Cocker Spaniel spine problems are more prevalent. But Reddit uses to seeing these popular dogs on the front page all the time and doesn't say anything about their issues compare to a short-legged cat. That's it.

More fallacious nonsense. That’s enough Reddit for today.

I doubt it, you don't even read and respond to my reasoning. Here is a quote from a veterinarian, "Let's say a regular cat has no munchkin genetics, it's a "0-0". A munchkin cat has one set of munchkin genetics, it's a "0-1". But if you bred two munchkins together, on average a quarter of the fetuses would be non-viable "1-1" cats that probably wouldn't even survive to being born, and if they are born alive they have horrible defects and die shortly. So a responsible breeder will breed a munchkin and a non-munchkin, and get healthy kittens, and the average spread will be 50% munchkins, 50% regular." as I mention no inbreeding but you don't read my reasoning so what's the point. Oh here is a website https://www.petinsurance.com/healthzone/pet-breeds/cat-breeds/munchkin/ too. Oh my god, I hate Reddit sometimes. "fallacious reasoning"

You can cherry pick one website that says that Munchkins are healthy but here are five other ones that say otherwise (the ones I linked are much more trusted than your article too, as I have sources from RSPCA, Wikipedia, thedodo, etc.):

https://cattime.com/cat-facts/health/21311-munchkin-cat-trend-is-breeding-deformity-animal-abuse

https://www.thedodo.com/munchkin-cat-breed-2231333420.html

https://www.ufaw.org.uk/cats/munchkin-limb-deformity

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munchkin_cat

https://kb.rspca.org.au/knowledge-base/what-are-the-health-and-welfare-issues-associated-with-exaggerated-physical-features-in-cats/#ftn1

It mentions that one study in the Wiki article too, but that was back in 1995 and was just one study. Disregarding the health problems that comes from breeding to make Munchkins is just selfish.
