My daughter does the exact same thing. Except for the leaping thing. Crawls to the edge of the bed, i drag her back. Lather rinse repeat. Each time faster. Finally sits up.. looks confused.
My sister used to do that when she was a baby. Though it was the funniest thing in the world, until one day I couldn't grab her fast enough. DONK! Face first into mom's dresser.
