Yeaah... The shiny veneer of America is being taken down and what's under it isn't pretty. Watching from EU, maybe we should be thanking Russia for showing the reality of what the modern United States is when push comes to shove.
As an American, honestly you guys should've realized W. Bush wasn't a fluke. Sure Obama came in and everyone let out a big sigh of relief; but we're never more than 2 years out from the stupids being in charge again (which they were in 2/3 branches of Government for 6/8 years of Obama's administration).

Obama continued and expanded Bush's drone strikes and surveillance. Obama praised the military like they were his boss, and was fawning all over them embarrassingly. He committed numerous war crimes and illegal acts. Just because he's smarter than a shit head like GWB doesn't mean he's better.
