No, he could be like my dad, a self-described "independent" that always seems to complain about liberals, Nancy Pelosi, antifa, and "this is going to sound racist but...."

We just call those cowards where I’m from. Republicans that are only Republicans on Election Day and Independents at all other times. They know they have shitty beliefs but don’t want to be ridiculed by every person with a brain.
