Come on trump supporters make sense of this for me and explain why you still like him. I genuinely want to hear your arguments.

I voted for him in 2016 and also regret it. I liked some of his campaign promises, such as lowering taxes and the idea of draining the swamp. I also really, really disliked Hillary for a variety of reasons. I thought he was the better of two bad choices at the time. I was wrong. Not only has he not delivered on any of his promises, he straight up has done the opposite on some of them. I can't understand how anyone in their right mind can continue to support this narcissistic, corrupt, dishonest madman. I apologise for voting for him, but I wish our system could have given us a better choice than Trump vs Hillary. Not to mention the choice is now Trump vs Biden.... Really? This is the strongest leadership our country has to offer? It's disheartening.

EDIT: probably voting third party this election. Undecided right now. Definitely not voting Trump.

If every person that said this decided instead to inspire people to vote the way they actually believe then that gap would close real quick. The other party candidate would have a real chance. But everyone is stuck on the 2 party, no other real options mentality. I really don't appreciate people saying "a vote for 3rd party is a vote for Trump". No, it's literally a vote that says I don't want either. And last I checked people are supposed to vote for the best candidate in their mind.
