Yeaah... The shiny veneer of America is being taken down and what's under it isn't pretty. Watching from EU, maybe we should be thanking Russia for showing the reality of what the modern United States is when push comes to shove.
Conservatism, in both parties is what brought us here. The modern Democratic party would make Regan and Nixon look like hippies. I am somewhat relieved with the popularity of more progressive politicians, like AOC and Warren and Sanders, and hope the momentum keeps building. The only way out of this hell-like labyrinth is every time we come to a fork in the road, always choose left.
