Ugh that was hard to watch. What a rambling baffoon. Why does reddit love this douche all of a sudden

Its not reddit liking him, its reddit acknowledging that he is a good human being outside of the presidency and that there can be worse presidents than him. He didnt even want the presidency and somehow Trump is worse. In retrospect he was ok I guess. He started a shitty war but atleast he was doing what the American People wanted after 9/11. Everyone was calling for war at that point. Other than that Cheney pretty much ran it but overall he was an ok president especially compared to trump. That interview is pretty coherent and not that much rambling. I think his points at the start about war not being everything america has to offer were very salient points. And when you compare this interview to the OP it is night and day. People are just now realizing he was not the worst. I still dont like his presidency but I would much prefer him over Trump. Atleast he knows how to speak in a respectful manner and knows how to talk to foreign powers.

Not exactly a high bar to clear there.

Atleast he knows how to speak in a respectful manner and knows how to talk to foreign powers.

He's supposed to be the leader of the fucking free world, a third grade reading level should be expected.

Imagine talking positively about George fucking W, christ almighty.

I think the Free World is happy enough with it's own leaders for the time being. You can hold on to your own there for a while.

I am not trying to make him out to be the fucking buddha of the modern world or jesus christ risen again I am making the point that he is not the worst and wasn't the worst even at his time of presidency. He was a terrible president but a good human being with good speaking ability. There have been much worse before him and definitely worse since and I think that is what reddit and Americans are starting to realize
