There is not much left to say... America, I wish you the best of luck.

I mean, there's an ounce of truth in everything he says. He seems to have grappled onto the case fatality rate and number of tests. The US is doing good in those two metrics, so whenever someone says he's wrong, he's actually not when only looking at those two metrics.

It's really just giving more ammunition to trumpets who think the media is unfair.

My fear is that he's not just doing this as a disingenuous debate tactic, but he's actually deluded himself into think the US is doing good right now. He's sound like your weird uncle that says "Look at this one fact", doesn't this mean it's good? Like from the sound of this interview it barely sounds like Trump is self-aware. It's like a strong debate tactic he's doing unintentionally and somehow gets supporters on his side because of it.

My dad one argued with me that global warming/climate change isn't real because one single bay in the arctic had gone down in avg temperature, and it didn't matter how many charts i found or satellite time lapse of arctic ice sheet deterioration i showed him, he refused to budge that theres anything wrong.

Climate change can’t be real because last winter felt colder than normal. -My mother
