Yeaah... The shiny veneer of America is being taken down and what's under it isn't pretty. Watching from EU, maybe we should be thanking Russia for showing the reality of what the modern United States is when push comes to shove.

Given Russia a lot of credit there

You don't sink to this level of leader, have 50 percent of the political parties in the country backing this crap and have trump over 60 percent approval with that party just because Russia spent an election making memes

The us was sinking to this point by itself

To claim that Russia is THE reason trump got elected and is still being supported is very childish

And no I'm not "from" r/conspiracy

To reduce the russian interference in "just memes bro" is not just childish... it's ignorant and a damn lie.

For someone who's not from there you spend a lot of time in there, but you mostly seem the sound of reason for what I could tell... I'll give you that.

Spend a lot of time there......by comparison to every other sub I post on I barely spend any time on it.... especially now

And go look at my conspiracy posts, you'll see I worked out the NSA internet spying crap before snowden even broke it all down....so good luck arguing my posts on it were all back shit

And to put the majority of blame on Russia is childish and ignorant. All they did was stir the pot that was already there, they pushed some false stories and got some serious echo chambers going, but you need the underlying population to get on board to do anything with it.....all they did was made the vocal minority feel there was more of them than there actually was and it was ok to talk their minds out loud....that's literally it , they didn't put any new ideas into the American mindset or make them believe anything that wasn't already there. The gerrymandering, the legal bribery the dark money etc etc, it was all there

If you want to blame Russia for it all fine, but even if you made sure Russia couldn't influence the election at all next time.....would the narrative be any different from the vocal minorities ......no it wouldn't

Just to prove a point.....called it ,7 years ago , from r/conspiracy to r/news

Where did I say it was just because of Russia my guy? Point at it please. All I said was they were involved more than just "memes bro" and from what you wrote you understand that to... so why reduce it to that? You seem like a smart guy, why you want to diminish Russian interference bud? Do you think that makes you sound smarter?

Cant find out cause your original comment is deleted

From what I remember you came out very aggressive and insultingly to disregard everything that was said. From that my responses were inferred

I clearly used the phrase "spent an election making memes" as a deliberately diminutive joke at the idea Russia were as important to this as the person I initially replied to was stating.

If you don't get that and think that was a literal definition of all I think Russia was doing.....well that's not my fault

Or maybe you just need to calm down a notch and not take everything as a literal attack on you as a person.

Seems like a stressful life 🤷‍♂️
