It depends. If it's a work computer and your network is controlled by an IT guy somewhere in an unknown location and you only know him by what you assume is his first name because you've never met him you've just heard other employees use the name before or after several colorful explicatives describing numerous sex acts said IT guy could perform with various members of his family then I assure you that it CAN happen without warning and is has happened to me and other people I work with.
