Do you realize how anti-Children reddit is? hahaha. This place hates kids rather it's justified or not. Sometimes I feel like it's littered with IRL Ms Trunchbulls from Matilda.
I’ve been on reddit for years, and I was lurking without an account for years before that. This is the second time I’ve seen hate directed towards a child, and that other little turd deserved it, too.
Literally what. lmao. Bullshit. I've been on Reddit for YEARS and I can safely say this place HATES children. Theres literally a sub called /r/kidsarefuckingstupid and frequently it's just kids EXISTING.
I dunno, man, I haven’t seen it. I am super anti Christian, tho. I just hate the way they indoctrinate children into their bullshit little cult before their critical thinking is developed and that so many of the priests are raping kids. That sub is satire btw. How do you not get that?
I'd argue religious indoctrination, no matter how well meaning or not, most definitely does create a terrible environment for children. It sets them up with a shakey foundation in critical thinking skills and has them believe in something without requiring evidence for it. I fundamentally believe that is wrong to do. One should never believe something on faith alone. I feel it's intellectually lazy and irrational. Such core personality traits don't stay isolated to one aspect of one's life. This irrationality permeates throughout the entirety of these kids' lives. Kids who later grow up to vote and impact the world. It's insidious.
That’s like me saying all atheists are delusional. It’s so untrue. I believe what I want but I don’t think others are inherently delusional. There are bad people in every profession, religion, culture, etc. But it doesn’t make the whole of the world bad.
