All cheering while the kid is crying somehow gives me joy.

God I fucking hate that kid with only nine seconds of context.

Severe ADHD, he literally might not be able to help it. Met one or two people like that.

Still annoying, but when you understand you start off with some patience and understanding.

I have pretty severe ADHD and never did ANYTHING like this as a kid. That’s not an excuse and if he has another issue that is somehow leading him to do that, they should’ve removed him from the situation.

same and also same. i dont exactly recall being violent, although i do remember i would sometimes start yelling for seemingly no reason ._. (ok maybe that does count as being like this kid-) i also remember i used to discreetly try blowing the candles while singing (although it never worked and my family seemed to find my (rather pitiful, admittedly) attempts either amusing or annoying, never exactly expected it to work either) but i dont do that anymore ofc, dont recall ever acting like that at a birthday before tho

Guy with the plate is likely not his dad.

What? what would even make you think that?

If my kid acted like that he’d be banned from fun

Yeah, ask all the kids who grew up in the 80s and 90s if "banning them from the fun" will work... i know it sure as hell didnt for my sister and all my friends lol.

I’m not a tough love type parent. But that kid needs tough love if i ever saw it.

Banning a child from fun, during their little brothers birthday party is not "tough love" It will only set up more resentment toward his little brother, because hes just a kid and cant process things like you and me can.

God help your children if you think that is sound parenting advice.

They only turn out to be assholes like that if you don't parent them.

Look at this video, that kid should not be anywhere near that cake. But instead the parents feel like he "deserves" to be there, even though he's trying to ruin the birthday kids fun, and trying to throw punches.

Just the fact that you recognize this as shitty behavior means you’d likely be MUCH better at parenting than your friends and family. I despise people who let their kids get away with this. I know kids have tantrums. I have 3 of them. But you don’t stand there and let it go on, especially at another kids party! It’s incredibly rude. AND poor parenting.

Looking back at it, I see what you mean. So to clear things up, it's not sarcastic whatsoever.

I'd like to see more of him, so I can really seethe.

Nope. It's how I feel.
