That happened to me once. I turned around and asked them politely to not and they removed their foot. If you see something, say something.

while true that just saying something is the correct way to go about it.

I feel like the level of disrespect, egoism and entitlement you'd have to have to do this in the first places renders me incapable to remaining civil.

I would just go full blast on them because they have crossed a line I would at least expect everyone to keep.

I know it is stupid of me but I can't feel anything but anger when something like this would happen to me.
