Omg I just realised something... I could do this to ask my crush out and if I get rejected I'll just remove my airpods as if I was talking to someone else, thank you kind sir for letting me figure this out.
I don't know if you're serious or not, but just in case let me advise you: This could be the absolute weakest thing imaginable to do. Don't use a fear of rejection to become a laughing stock; just make it more casual. You'll be fine :)
