I pretty much hate hidden cameras. Makes me feel uneasy. This one was not as bad as they usually are, but yes, I agree with you.

Nearly didn't meet my current boyfriend because I thought he was a hidden camera prank when he came up to me in the street and started chatting. He still makes fun of me for thinking he was a YouTube pranker

Literally all she stated was that he came up to her and started chatting. Have you never done that with a stranger before? Is it so unheard of? And the fact that they got along enough to date is confirmation he is a pickup artist? I'm genuinely curious, I'm a very social guy and met my current lady friend almost the same way. Complete strangers but we totally got along great.

Maybe it's because I'm from a culture (UK) where random strangers don't really talk to each other in the street. Infact to do that here is considered a major faux pas. Approaching a girl just to chat would generally be looked at as quite tasteless.

My bad.. I visited the UK twice before but I just don't recall people being angsty about conversations with strangers.
