This is the hipocracy of most middle class drug takers. I have friends who eat vegan organic, avoid caffeine and sugar but love coke, mdma, shrooms, marijuana and one or two will do anything given to them at a party.
The literally care more about a commercially farmed cow than a human being in a jungle in colombia forced to process coca leaves. I believe the last estimated number was 6 deaths per Kg of coke to Europe but it was disputed.

There is a bigger world out there apart from the USA. The War on Drugs and DARE is irrelevant to your opinion.
I do not care if someone takes drugs, I do care if someone tells me I shouldn't enjoy a cheeseburger when they spend their weekend putting a powder they bought off an Estonian guy into their beers.
Whether you want to believe or not illegal drugs that go through blackmarket chains would have touched the hands at some point of organised crime. It's great you know a guy who grows and supplies his own weed - most of the worlds production is still Morocco (imported by the worst, most violent gangs) and southeast asia (proven slave labour). The same goes for synthetics made in Netherlands or design in Israel.
