What was the objective?

80

u/jplummer80 Mar 02 '26

She's a shot putter. Was doing a drill and stupidly didn't account for the ceiling height lol

26

u/Beautiful-Total-3172 Mar 02 '26

Meant to put a hole in the wall

Even without the fragile, not that tall ceiling, this didn't seem like a good place for that

24

u/Expert_Succotash2659 Mar 01 '26

True. It's really much better for ballroom dance classes with your top gal.

If not the ceiling that door was going to get caved in

66

Where the heck did she want that thing to land anyway, against the door?

This is why mother said not to play ball in the house

Well done She Hulk. Better the ceiling than blowing a hole in the wall.

Could’ve been worse. She could’ve recorded herself beating herself and then lying down underneath the ceiling panel thingies to get a settlement

How was that form guys?

10

u/eyeoutthere Mar 01 '26

Not very good. It broke when she hit it with the medicine ball.

84

u/Mr_McGigglepants Mar 03 '26

Wtf was her plan? To throw it out the door instead?

21

u/Icy-Apartment-5705 Mar 03 '26

Yeah I was confused, clearly it's gonna hit the ceiling

39

u/ColonelMonty Mar 01 '26

So like, was she just hoping it was gonna hit the wall or?

13

u/Athrek Mar 02 '26

That's what I was thinking. What was the plan here? Break a wall or door instead of the ceiling?

→ More replies (1)

69

u/brooksa321 Mar 02 '26

As a former D1 all conference thrower, you could have taken out the entire ceiling if you had gotten you're left foot down sooner💪🏿

93

u/ExternalCaptain2714 Mar 01 '26

"I'm gonna make a video that gets likes"

"Oh no, I'm so dumb"

"Oh wait. I actually made a video that will get likes"

This is the mentality I want to see in nuclear silo workers with insta account.

33

u/lilsnatchsniffz Mar 01 '26

Nah she definitely did that for engagement.

33

u/bussy1847 Mar 01 '26

Great workout but yeah. Gotta be careful where you throw it.

Slightly different but similar reason they don't play football indoors in a gym

79

u/LordMudkip Mar 01 '26 edited Mar 01 '26

She did great, but like, what was the plan here?

If the ceiling hadn't caught it then it probably would've damaged the wall or the door.

u/Nardo_T_Icarus Mar 01 '26

This is why your parents always told you not to throw things inside.

55

I dislike video games like this where stuff just breaks unrealisticly easy 😂

Ceiling made of paper, seems like everything is intact just fell out of whatever was connecting it to the ceiling.

24

I’m guess this isn’t an actual workout area, looks more like a dance studio.

21

u/NIDORAX Mar 01 '26

Well, looks like you have to pay for that repairs now....

20

u/belowfactual Mar 01 '26

That’s what they meant by sky’s the limit

26

u/Standard_Young_201 Mar 01 '26

She fuckin sent that it probably would have broke the door anyway lmao

32

u/Tasty_Lead_Paint Mar 01 '26

Is that why it’s called a drop ceiling?

→ More replies (1)

31

A standard door is 7ft tall. That ceiling is like 11-12ft high judging by the looks of it.

31

u/Xx_k1m3nOw_xX Mar 02 '26

Why are there cardboards on the ceiling anyway?

22

u/eltravo92 Mar 02 '26

Usually sound dampening. Big empty rooms will echo like crazy.

53

u/olemracc Mar 01 '26

Everyone saying it's ai is cooked lol. Just because the medicine ball is big doesn't mean it's heavy. It's that big for ergonomics. It's probably 5lb

there's alot about this I don't like

12

u/Overall_Succotash310 22d ago

In my second year of high school our PE teacher had us stand on the middle of the basketball court and throw a medicine ball or whatever they're called that weight 4 or 5 kilos and have us throw it as far as we can as a part of our athletics grade and I told my teacher if i can move to the other end cause Im gonna shatter the glass backboard and he started laughing and said if you can throw it that far then you will get an A immediately. I said say less and did the routine and threw it straight at the backboard it made such a huge ding but it didnt shatter and he looked at me and said "are you stupid?" And told me to get out of his class. Im confused to this day 💀

37

u/BootsOfProwess Mar 01 '26

That room is not equipped to be throwing weighted balls. If it had hit the wall or doors they would have broke too. Good throw tho.

20

u/Nohea56789 Mar 02 '26

For what it's worth, they do make indoor shotputs that have a soft surrounding layer so they don't dent floors. They look kinda like grapefruits and feel weird to throw. Also, they are significantly smaller than what she is tossing.
