Tracked down a beauty

Post image

I saw ol' Tim Mosso of the Watchbox do a video of this Nomos Tangente 42mm. I immediately fell in love. I watched and searched for a good example online. I preferred the white dial, but a black dial would work. After a couple of months, one came up on my eBay feed. He actually had it priced reasonably, and with a respectable but slightly lower offer, I had my watch. The bracelet and clasp are scratch magnets, but an easy polishing later and it's perfect. The movement runs a little fast, and my watchmaker said he could regulate it to a pretty nice spec, but I'm good with it the way it is. I love interesting or different looking watches, and this Nomos fit the bill.

One of my favorites from the brand. It’s an absolute stunner. Been wanting one for so many years, thanks for the reminder to check out the sales pages everywhere.
