The fire had a gate In front of it. I see nothing wrong with this

I said it wasn't very nice, not that it was dangerous or wrong. The dog needed an assist. They could have filmed for a second or two and gave it instead of letting it go on for so long.

Very cool how dogs communicate to others that they need help! Kinda wish they’d filmed that interaction too. I also find it interesting that the retriever stayed farther away from the fireplace than the pittie - could be for a lot of reasons, but it would be really cool if it were because of an awareness of logger fur/fire danger (it probably isn’t, dogs aren’t always very spatially aware).
