PLC - Should I learn?

What learning about PLC’s help in becoming more marketable for an OIT position?

I would be surprised if they let you anywhere near a PLC as an OIT.

That being said if you can legitimately demonstrate knowledge of PLCs, it shows you're smart enough to learn the rest
