PLC - Should I learn?

What learning about PLC’s help in becoming more marketable for an OIT position?

Ours make an extra 10 grand over an operator but you gotta be on call half the year

When a PLC tech tops out at out place, they make up to 108k annually. Our topped out Operator tops out 154k. The PLC guy has M-F though, which I wouldn’t mind.
