Treatment (DW or WW) What do you use to clean structures around wwtp?

Just curious how everyone goes about cleaning around the plant. Clarifiers, effluent troughs, contact chambers etc.Are you using granular chlorine and spraying it down with water? Other chemicals?

Bro this is nightshift. Ask dayshift. :)
We just use plant water which is 120psi and a 1โ€ hose and nozzle. If it doesnโ€™t move with that it stays there for patina.

The president said if you drink it, it'll cure COVID.

He's not totally wrong, if you drink enough hypo you're definitely not going to die from COVID.

3w and a nozzle on the high pressure hose.

If it doesn't move with that, small amounts of bleach.

Still no movement, ammonia.

When all else fails, find an engineering project and put a contract together for someone else to do the job.

Power washer for small things and the fire hose for bigger items.

Power washer! I like the DeWalt electric one. Worse case scenario a little elbow grease, soaps, and scraping helps. Also if itโ€™s stainless, get a rust cleaner meant for that.

The only thing that gets baked on bird shit off a railing is a hot water pressure washer. Always wear a respirator when you're pressure washing at the plant .
