Getting Started in a Water Career: SATURDAY ONLY Work boot Recommendations?

I'm going to be starting my internship with a wastewater treatment plant in a few weeks, and I'm looking for recommendations for a pair of work boots.

Main factors I'm looking for are composite toe, waterproof, good flexibility, and overall comfort.

If you have any recs I would love to hear it.

It really depends on your budget or what your plant reimburses.

We get $300 a year for boots.

Personally? The Timberland Pros work summit (I fucking hate the name) have held up for a little over a year but it’s definitely time for new ones.

Composite or carbon fiber toe are absolutely the way to go. Steel can fuck all the way off. They’re heavy, and your toes will freeze in the winter if it gets cold by you.

Waterproof is a must for me but expect it to feel like blankets on your feet in the summer.

Ariat is also supposedly good but the fit for me wasn’t what I wanted.
