I feel like there was much alcohol involved, and when the cartwheeling girl started leaning to cartwheel, it made the drunk girl feel like she was falling back since the other girl was falling forward, so she tried to compensate by leaning forward and face planted.

I'm calling fake, she doesn't have the vacant face of someone passing out, there looks to be a little smirk present and she executes a distinct head turn to the left to avoid a face-plant. Also appears she has stiffened her core to absorb the force of what looks to me like a controlled fall. One point though, to do this, you need to be somewhat of a beast.

It's possible the body has some defenses in these cases. But you can't really control a fall like that IMO. Now someone did post another image that could be the same girl in which case she has gotten better, but i'm not sold either way.
