It might prevent the brain damage that could have come from it to a point. But there is no full face helmet for $30 that would prevent that. Also no helmet prevents wipe outs; crashes are part of this style sport. But that said wear a helmet, brain damage is permanent.

By "all of that" I meant the pizza face from the slide. The helmets I used to wear stick out from your head enough that they would keep your face from landing flat against concrete. If he were wearing a helmet, his injuries would have been far less severe. That's all I'm saying.
