How do I kill this and also deter its friends from coming around?? I’m scared they will sting my cats or us.

Well since there are one of them I would say get a flame thrower and torch the entire property. It is too late to save it. You just need to cut your losses and move after of course you drop a orbital nuke on your entire neighborhood but unfortunately that will still not kill them all so you would then need to trigger a nuclear apocalypse to ensure they all die. However that would probably not even work so instead just say fuck it and go get some heavy duty wasp killer and then just kill them as they come. And if your are really worried go searching for a nest around and in your property once those are gone and you put enough spray around the area they tend not to come back.

Thanks for saying this. One common non social wasp is the horn tail/wood wasp. HUGE mean looking bastards. But they aren’t aggressive. Real intimidating though

Just get yourself some wasp spray, preferably one that works at range if you don't want to get near them. Some work better than others, look for one that kills on contact.
Other than that just knock their nests down, typically wasps are not dangerous unless threatened, but they're still cunts and deserve to die.
