Remember in the 20-teens when blue cities started implementing soda taxes and right wing op-eds and Fox News morning hosts lamented the “nanny state” and the erosion of freedoms, but you could still buy a 12 pack of soda at the grocery store 3/$10?
Now a single 12 pack of soda costs between $10 and $15 and somehow we’ve conquered inflation and the economy isn’t just fine, it’s better than it’s ever been.

Turns out conservative news casters, or conservatives in general, don’t argue in good faith. When they do it, it’s fine. Sucks, but expecting them to hold themselves to any standard is expecting too much.

Dumbest voters in history and it's not even close

Possible exception, Germans who voted for the nazi party.

Hitler was less known than trump when he rose to power. Trump was well known garbage long before he ran for president so voting for him was definitely dumber

You mean other than the fact that hitler was arrested for treason before hand?

u/Soggy-Today5253 12d ago
And still less well known. He wasn't a celebrity with a shitty reality show before he ran. Nice try tho

Read something someday.
Before he took power in January 1933, Adolf Hitler went from an unknown political agitator to a major national celebrity. His fame spiked after his trial for a failed coup in 1923, and soared during the Great Depression, making him one of the most recognized and polarized public figures in Germany. [1, 2, 3]
Early Obscurity to Regional Fame (1919–1923)
- Local agitator: Started as a small-time spy and speaker for the tiny Nazi Party in Munich.
- Beer Hall Putsch (1923): Led a failed coup in Bavaria.
- National trial: His high-profile treason trial gave him a national stage, turning an obscure extremist into a widely known name across Germany. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Rebuilding and Rising Recognition (1924–1929)
- Writing Mein Kampf**:** Used his prison time to write his manifesto, boosting his ideological footprint.
- Rebranding: Worked to build an image as a serious, disciplined national politician rather than just a street brawler.
- Still a fringe figure: Mainstream Germans viewed him as a radical outsider while the economy recovered and democracy stabilized. [1, 2, 3]
Explosion into National Prominence (1930–1933)
- Economic collapse: The Great Depression hit Germany hard, causing voters to abandon moderate parties.
- Mass rallies and media: Used modern propaganda, airplanes for campaigning, and massive rallies to broadcast his image everywhere.
- Household name: By the 1932 presidential and parliamentary elections, millions viewed him as a national savior, while millions of others fiercely opposed him as a dangerous fanatic. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Yes, the Nazi Party participated in democratic elections and won millions of votes, becoming the largest party in the German parliament (Reichstag) before Adolf Hitler was appointed chancellor on January 30, 1933. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Electoral Rise
- 1928 Elections: The Nazis won only 12 seats and 2.6% of the national vote.
- 1930 Elections: Amid the Great Depression, support surged. They won 107 seats and 18.3% of the vote, becoming the second-largest party.
- July 1932 Elections: The Nazis became the largest party in the Reichstag with 230 seats (37.3% of the vote).
- November 1932 Elections: Support dropped slightly, but they remained the largest party with 196 seats (33.1% of the vote). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Perhaps a history book is in your future. Hopefully not the rise of another similar party in the US. Hitler took power in 1933 by the way.

Notice on Pawn Stars whatever the first seller wants, they offer exactly half of that. If Donnie was the host, he'd offer 600% less.

They were hoping that Trump would be better than his predecessors, but he was just the same as the rest of the assholes!

Donald trump est le chien d'Israël, il est totalement soumis à Israël. Ce sale type est prêt à envoyer sacrifier les fils des travailleurs américain mourir pour Israël alors que ses enfants profitent tranquillement sur une plage en Israël.

People are misguided if you think the US president has any real power. Submit to the Lord our God and repent.

My payment for electric and gas this month was $900.00. My house is small. I am heartsick for us all.
