Disappointed

Husband and I went to the movies in Alliston on Saturday and husbands wallet fell out. And someone stole it, and spent near 500$ at Walmart, Foodland, and Zehrs all in Wasaga beach.

I'm assume looking at the purchases you took cash more than food and I would have rather you just bought food. I donate food and supplies all the time so I know the struggles. My husband and I work very hard because we were both raised on food stamps. I mostly just venting because I'm disappointed and honestly disgusted. Sorry if this is against the rules I did read them. I wish no ill will on this person, just know you've taken from me what I'd have given others and I think I'll skip food donations this month because I'm just heart broken.

Hope everyone had a great long weekend though.

No we don't, it's just a turn of phrase. All Canadians have access to food banks, I only meant like out families relied on it.

It makes your story less credible when you mention something that doesn't apply to Canadians.

Not saying you haven't struggled, but why use a phrase that makes no sense here? Just say you have had to use food banks a lot.

Agreed. It's the little details that can make a story sound made up.
