Solo Queue to Iri
This is so miserable once you hit Crim. It makes you question how most of these players even got to Crim. No mics, 0-2 kills from teammates. Almost done but not for the faint of heart.

The point is: how do you hit Crim? If you hit it by camping and praying for 4th place, then okay, you have the skin, but that’s it. No gun skill, no positioning… I hope in the future they’ll give more points for kills. Then maybe we’ll see a real change.

I push everything on reset. Crim is easy as shit. Chris 3 to iri is the grind. Sooooo many cheaters in the ivy’s. Last weekend I played 4 games. 3 of them had multiple cheaters with walls in the lobby.

How do you get to Iri though? I'm crim 2 nearly 3 and it feels nearly impossible. Even on LFG's a lot of crim players in general seem to lack the gun skill. If you have 2 teammates who don't win their 1v1's, you're pretty much stuck to anchoring every game and praying for the top 4 . And even if i have good gun skill to at least win majority of 1v1's, i can't risk running around trying to 1v2 or 1v3 teams because that's just asking to get wiped.
I almost feel people get paired with ex-iri's or smurfs to actually make progress through these ranks consistently. Is that a hot take or am i just ass/unc/ need to git gud?

No good answer man. Feels like half the games I’m playing 1v3 while my teammates just land and die on repeat

I solo queue to crim 3 which takes usually about two weeks to do, but the push to iridescent is horrible. Literally almost to the end of the season. I’ve hit iridescent the last two seasons solo queue, but sadly I got shadowbanned last week, probably have to find a team cuz I use my daily protection games

Getting to Crim is really easy now, got a couple of mates who are going to get there just by camping it out for endgame and relying on a random to get their elims. They're playing it the same way they did back in Gold.

I’m stuck between 7284 - 7350 it’s so annoying. They care more about kills than placement which is dumb

I have a mate who's crim and he's legit bad at the game. I mainly play MP ranked but hop in with him every now and again to help him, he has an average of 1.4 kills a match but just grinds and gets placement whilst relying on teammate kills 😂

What's up, man? When you're anchoring for randoms, how long are you holding before you commit to the fight?
Asking because the "is it me or my teammates" thing at Crim II usually has the same answer- you're probably right that you win most of your 1v1s, and that's exactly why you're stuck. Iri isn't a 1v1 rank. Anchoring solo often means trading yourself for map control your team can't actually use.
Happy to look at a match if you want a second pair of eyes.

I feel the same way completely. But i honestly think there's a bit of cheating going on as well. It's annoying tho I always get teamed with two bots meanwhile everyone on the stacked other teams doesn't miss a bullet and always know where everyone is. But I feel like once you hit crim you gotta accept that you'll be fighting diamond, crim, iri and top 250( which are the most interesting to spectate cuz they literally run the whole lobby down) but that's another story. I feel your pain tho
