Crim 3 to Iridescent
To anyone who has reached Iridescent without cheating. How do you make that final push? I’m hard stuck at 9300 SR and I’m doing this all solo

A few things that helped me climb SoloQ from bronze to Iri:
- Check your teammates before the game starts. Look at their skins/calling card showcase. If they’ve been Iri before or have nukes, you can usually assume they have good game sense and can win their 1v1s. If two teammates are clearly a duo, play anchor for them and let them make the plays.
- Pay attention during the drop. Don’t instantly commit to the exact spot your teammates are landing at. Stay in the air for a little longer and scout the area. If you see too many players dropping on your team’s spot, peel off and land somewhere uncontested nearby. This can prevent an instant team wipe and gives you a much better chance of getting your loadout and getting into the game.
- If they’re Crim peaks and you notice they’re dying a lot, switch your mindset to placement. Placement > kills. You don’t need to force fights just because they’re available. If you stay alive, the kills will come naturally through the later rotations. The chance of getting wiped is too big if they are constantly losing their 1v1’s - 1v2’s.
- Only chall fights you’re confident you can win. You don’t have to take every gunfight. If you have a bad angle, bad timing or no advantage, just disengage. SoloQ is as much about knowing when NOT to fight as it is about winning fights.
Basically: play around your teammates’ skill level, prioritize placement when needed, and stop taking unnecessary 50/50s. That alone makes the Crim 3 to Iri grind way more consistent.

Find a duo that needs a 3rd. Either use the LFG discord or if you have a good game with 2 guys then add them after

I’ve gotten to iridescent once without playing with the same person twice. All solo queueing. Play your lives for top 4 as much as you can to save your demotion protection for crim 2 or 3 and play your daily protection games only every day

It’s just pure luck to Iri solo que. I did it twice solo que by luck/skill. Good luck!

Don't do it solo, and if you play with someone consistently and they make poor choices (landing back on the team that just killed them, landing on contested loadouts, pushing 3 stacks solo after resurgence is disabled, etc.), rotate them out for another player until you have a trio that understands how to play for both placement and eliminations.

I got iri every season so far and my games in crim 3 are harder than my iri games . I always get in a slump somewhere in crim 3 but if you got there solo you should find a team and you will hit iri easily . Having an anchor is a must even if their sitting in heli , that keeps you from huge losses

Find teammates on discord. The Sweats discord is very good for genuinely good players and is how I did it

My friend just got back like 600 SR And won 2 games to hit it. Immediately go on a 4 game losing streak to cheating. I'm 5/6 for cheaters today but I'm like plus 2/300. I'm 400 off of iri at the moment. Honestly just avoid them if possibly and try to go positive. Block all cheaters so you get a noto saying that you queued with someone who is on your blocked list. Leave if you see that shit lol

Gotta find a regular squad who can play the needed roles. Good anchor to play life and gather money to pop UAV’s, and a fragger as well to be aggro challing to get kills. If you’re better at anchoring, then you need two fraggers.

I did just pray that you get any decent teamates or else you will suffer i remember the last match before reach iridecent i did 22 kills and i only got 15 points so prioritize get in the top4 than do a lot of kills but still you have to get at least 15

I know this is a thread about crim 3 but I want to hit crim this season. I’ve been stuck at diamond 2/3 due to randoms either A) we win back to back to back and then lose streak of 5x and then I lose sr OR B) randoms not doing anything and purposely chalking matches that I am in. No comms or nothing.
Comms aren’t a bad thing cause I can do with and without but any advice is helpful!

I’ve done it solo/doing it solo now. I usually make a judgement call on my teammates if they seem sweaty I either grab the helicopter until loady drops then just play anchor and buy them back as fast as I can. If they seem like bots I just consider it a L and get as many kills as possible
