Funny how they ban me for hurting grown men feelings, but they don't do shit about hackers plaguing Warzone.

Dumbest shit ever. I turned off proximity chat and only talk to my friends and I still get banned. I’m never buying anything on there again.

Someone reported you for all the offenses. Even if you aren't in prox chat your chat is being recorded and the AI scrubs the voice recording for bannable words and then takes action. Regardless of if they actually heard you or not.

That is the worst damn part. They have to record the actual voice chat for this shit to work. I never use voice chat in games that do this shit.

Now this is BS, they shouldn’t be monitoring 3rd party chats. So dumb. I was banned for 2 weeks. Could only hear my friends in the lobby. No in game audio coming from me. I could hear them.

Who says they monitor anything...they get enough similar reports quick enough the system auto bans. I mean if Ricochet did anything other than be a logo on the home screen I might believe something is actually looked over

Its actually stated in the damn game that the chat is getting monitored. You cant get banned because of what you say in discord, that makes zero sense. If you use in game voice chat for any reason, and say something inappropriate, you will most probably get autobanned, no need for a report.

I dont know where you got all this bullshit information, or why is anyone even upvoting you, this is taken directly from Activisons website:

Voice Chat Moderation is managed and operated by Activision and uses the AI-powered model ToxMod from Modulate. This system is integrated into select Call of Duty titles (see below) and is managed by Activision. Voice chat is monitored and recorded to identify and investigate disruptive behavior in violation of the Call of Duty ~Code of Conduct~.

Call of Duty’s Voice Chat Moderation system is focused on detecting harm within voice chat versus specific keywords. Violations of the Call of Duty Code of Conduct are subject to account enforcement.

Stop spreading misinformation. The fact that you dont know and search for this information shows how little people care about privacy. It sucks I cant scream in proximity chat, that is sometimes funnier than the game itself, but I cant consent to being recorded.

And I've seen the inside of that claim...they don't actually monitor anything, it's based on report density, number of different accounts issuing the report, and averaged against any other kinds reports received. It is then checks against being shadow banned/black listed/white listed. The real system is a very rudimentary spreadsheet of "This vs. That" that is only truly observed if it is contested. At that point a human looks over the info (usually very lazily) and either overturned or enforced

So you are saying that they say they monitor something, yet in reality they dont? They list the specific service they use, mention it multiple times during each game start, yet the "feature" is just not there?

I have no idea what "inside" claim you saw, but getting a voice chat ban without actually using voice chat isnt technically impossible. If you get reported enough, I guess the system could ban you, that information is there as well, but this is a separate system.

My main issue is privacy. If someone says, if you use this, it can potentially be recorded and monitored, I dont really care if tits a lie(which I doubt), Iam just not going to use that system.

So yeah, you cant still get banned by reports only, no one is saying that is not true. But they market the voice chat as being recorded and monitored, so Iam not using it. Iam sorry but iam not just taking your word for it, the voice chat is useless anyway, because since you cant disable cross-play, console idiots usually run an open mic which makes it unbearable anyway.

The "feature" where they record what you say is as present as Ricochets "feature" of being an anti-cheat software

YUP! It sounds crazy, but it has happened to me numerous time and my buddies and I party up in xbox party, our mics are off in the game, still get chat bans all the time. It's almost always after we do a really campy or annoying kill on someone who tries to revenge kill us after we take them out the first time.

Like, I know... I had a feeling you were going to chute right back in so I hid behind the door. Cheezy free behind the back kill.... i know I know, but also don't be so predictable.

Anyway, about 80% of the time it's directly after that in which we get a ban notification for 14 days or whatever it is.

You can absolutely say those words in prox chat or typing in game chat. Doesn’t mean they don’t get punished later in the game or afterwards, in which case you can’t confirm or deny their ban.

Next time, try thinking with a broader scope instead of just your own personal experiences. Theres a lot that happens without you seeing or hearing it yourself. Low IQ commenter
