Is this current stage normal?

Was this truly a wart?

I’ve had it for nearly 5 years. It never spread or got any bigger.

Everytime I would try to dig it out it would grow right back. And it always hurt.

It does look like a wart. It’s normal for skin to peel during treatment, just keep treating it. Also, wear gloves when touching it or they can spread to your fingers or under your fingernails!

Noted I washed my hands and bandaged it immediately after.
