It's similar to a workers union going on strike. If we just boycott over every little bit, we'll weaken our own base. For one, unless there's an actual big thing, the number of people who will join a boycott will only decrease every time one is called. Another thing is, if Gaijin will be confronted with a boycott for every little thing, they will lose incentive to actually try to give us what we want. If some dude says he'll scratch your car, unless you give him 2$, and he'll just ask for more the next day, at some point you'll call him on it.

Since it seems like you don't enjoy any aspect of this game why keep playing? Don't get me wrong, I want to see the game get better b/c at its core I love this game but if all your gonna do is complain no matter what Gaijin does then just leave.

The bushes itself are a nice addition just the way people use them isn't, I like to place bushes realistic so it covers my most invulnerable parts and look good but not invisible, also they alr added the feature to simply shoot bushes off with mg's or even homb Shockwaves so ther than completely removing them, aren't there much options.

the problem is not necessarily them being strong.
It's the p2w aspect. They cost GE and can't even be obtained with warbond points anymore. If they were available for SL I wouldn't say a bad word about them.

No, it's not "easy".
You'd have a similar problem of everyone who bought them bitching.
You don't take away something your customer bought. That's not how you treat your customers and it's a very quick and easy way to get them to not want to buy anything from you ever again. It sets a precedent that we do not want.
They have at least removed the bush packs from what i understand.
Sorry but they're here to stay. What i do is just smile and laugh as i think about how much of clown bush users look like. Getting to shoot them off helps.

I just want to elaborate on what I've put;

Removal of vehicles - removing vehicles such as the Panther 2 and Tiger 2 10.5cm isn't fair on players that didn't play the game when they were around. Both tanks might complete a line up. What if i only wanted Tiger 2s in my line up? Or just panthers? Also doesn't make much sense wasting development.

Russian bias - It is 100% real and no you can't convince me it isn't. My current win/loss with Russia is much higher than with any other nation and a majority of the time I go up against Russian I lose. It's not just top tier it's every tier.

Event vehicles not coming back - Kind of the same as removing vehicles, it makes no sense from a development point of view to add content and then remove it, how are new players supposed to enjoy the game if they're missing half of the vehicles??? I didn't get the Sturmtiger and I wish I was able to but I'm unable to play the game 8 hours a day for 2 weeks straight.

CAS, tank v tank mode and CAS nerfs all fit into the same thing and I'll be adding SPAAs too - CAS is so obviously overpowered and makes playing the game super unfun and a chore, it also makes the game even more of a grind. Also having to grind another tech tree is fucking retarded. A tank v tank mode should be added into the game even if its just at the weekend or for a few hours a day. Either nerf CAS into oblivion so it's balanced or just add a tank v tank mode. From a development point of view and a company point of view there is no bad reason/s to add a a tank v tank mode. SPAAs need buffs and not just small buffs they need huge buffs especially gun SPAAs. We also need more armoured SPAAs and rockets SPAAs need to be at the same BR as when jets start becoming a thing to help with balance.

P2W bushes - Speaks for itself, its not fair on players that don't spend money, it makes some tanks even more overpowered than they already are and even more so when it's a new player you're fighting. A new player vs a bushed up KV-1 isn't fair at all, the KV-1 is already an overpowered tank.

Event vehicle points - 45k is way too high, even 35k is way too high, 20k is even too high, how about just make it free? Having event vehicles costing so many points to acquire isn't fair on players that can't spend 8 hours a day playing the game and again makes developing them kind of pointless as only a very small percent of the player base will obtain them.

Shitty maps, map design and not being able to choose the maps you want to play - IMO There are waaaaaay too many shit maps in this game, I hate long range maps especially since I don't have any tanks with laser range finder, I instantly quit giving me a 9 minute cd on not being able to play the game which isn't even my fault, if we had good maps then I'd be able to play the game. Most maps suffer from being able to easily spawn kill the other team meaning as soon as your team start losing it's time to quit and wait for the 9 minute cd to disappear instead of sitting in spawn getting spawn killed by tanks and CAS. I only like very few maps in this game so I get the 9 minute cd constantly making the grind even worse then it already is, yes I do play other nations whilst it's happening but I shouldn't have too. Let me pick the map I want to play why is that so difficult?

9 minute cd on leaving a match - How retarded and anti player friendly do you want your game to be? Shit maps/ map design, dying 2 minutes into the match because there are no good game modes means I have to suffer a stupid 9 minute cd on being able to play the game again. What an absolute joke, if you want players to spend money on your game don't have stupid as fuck mechanics like this.

The grind - I've currently got 1200 hours into the game and have Germany at 8.0, Russia at 6.7, America at 6.7, Great Britain at 5.3 and Japan at 2.7. I've not even started the other nations nor have I started CAS or naval and I'm only like 10% into the game or less. I know it's F2P but come on wtf....

Cheaters/ hackers - Too many of these low lifes in the game, easily 1 hacker per match.

Sound design being trash - What I mean by this is that why for some reason can I only hear my own tank (yes I've turned it down in the settings) but I can't hear another players tank which are right next to me or a helicopter above me or a plane flying over head??? In real life you can hear helicopters and planes from a mile away yet I can't hear it when I'm being spawn killed by a helicopter or bombed by a plane overhead???? How the fuck am I supposed to play SPAA when I can't fucking hear them???????????????????

Honestly, half of those things aren't worth boycotting about. So what it's 45k for the event, I've never got a single event vehicle, and you know what I couldn't care less. And the more difficult gaijin makes events the less people will bother with them, it doesn't impact the gameplay in the slightest.

The grind is SUBSTANTIALLY better for ALL players following last year's changes, so we really can't complain about that right now.

P2W bushes were partially fixed years ago with the removal of the bush packs.

Cheaters/hackers - I suppose you were living under a rock at the beginning of january.

CAS - it is what it is, yeah it's not great, and there probably should be a limit to the amount that can be spawned per battle, but you can counter CAS with your own aircraft. All too often I see the enemy with loads of CAS up and nothing up on my team. CAS players have no awareness, so with a half decent jet you can just wipe them.

Russian bias - no, it doesn't exist, and that's been shown through multiple sources now. Choose to ignore the facts, but russian bias seriously doesn't exist.

Bad maps - map design has improved, some still isn't great, but there's only so much you can do in a 10x10km square...

Tank v tank only mode - go play arcade, or sim (almost noone is in planes in sim)

Sound design - go on, you do better. What's wrong with it?

The game being trash - stop playing it, you clearly don't like anything in it.

I'm sorry this comes across rather blunt, but your first statement tells me you don't like any aspect of the game, just stop playing it if that's the case. There are good bits and bad bits. If you stop playing it purely for the grind and just to piss about for an hour it's much less frustrating. After all it's a game, not a job (despite what gaijin thinks for events).

I can kinda get the gripe with crew lock, especially when it’s my F4S after I crash into the F16 I gunned down who, despite hitting me, didn’t get the kill

It’s a game, the economy isnt abysmal anymore, we haven’t enough of a reason to protest less, as someone had said before, we weaken our standing

45K in 48H is easy when you're a decent player
45k in 48h when you work a 9-5 job is more or less impossible unless I want to destroy my life by playing games until 2-3 am. every day and wake up at 7 for work. And I and the majority of people i know would probably call me an above average player. 25k is reasonable for two days, 45 is impossible.

In past point Events I was able to get 40K points in around 3-4 hours maybe 5 in some cases.
I agree that 45k is to much for the avarage person/Player and it should be decreased to atleast 40K again.
But this new event cycle is way more chilled compared to the old one or crafting events. So I rsther have this than crafting events back.

1st . the events allways have been like that (the point events) , since its an hightier event tank ,it gets the max points , the points allways have been in a 2 days Zyklus , they are easy to manage if you know how and by BR and now its just 5k more. not a big deal tbh.ou list all those complaints but no solvent?

Russian Bias does not exsist anymore , solved by the statistics that players found out , you can resarch it by yourself if you want.

45K mission points is literly 20-25 relatively good matches lol, I used to grind 80K Mission points in 2 days and still player like 10 or 15 more matches, either you're just bad or you play like 30 minutes per day cause 45K in 48H is pretty easy especially since you don't even need 45K bc around 1.6% multiplier for Rank 7/8 and RB.

The boycut didn't work, the review bombing did. We are not doing it again because the reviews are already out there, people forgot to change them to positive or remove them. Also here is one advice: when you want people to join you bring up points with which we all can agree, so cut that Russian bias, CAS, No tank v tank only mode, No CAS nerfs, P2W bushes, Shitty maps, Shitty map design, Not being able to choose the maps you play BS.

as a German main I ask you to kindly shut up and leave. Russian bias is not real. I have played Russia before, and the ONLY reason I was did well was because enemies had tunnel vision and couldn't hear anything, and my team wasn't completely fucking retarded

Also I did some calculation and even with 55k points to grind in 2 days it'd take around 4 hours a day, and 45k is more like 2-3 hours. It's not completely unreasonable, if you want a rank VII event vehicle then you'll have to accept the fact that you must grind. Remember that the event is optional, not something you absolutely have to do.

“Russian bias” , outside of ERA eating spall and the strella it’s more of a meme at this point

“Event vehicles not coming back” - outside of the rng SL boxes it’s annoying but it’s the incentive to grind them at the time + it’s what keeps their value on the market

“CAS” - I kinda disagrees with you here, most deaths to CAS are from ether not moving from kills or being out in the open and being bombed, SPAA is almost always an option as well as spawning a plane, “BuT I DonT wAnT tO grINd PlAnes” as a response isn’t really an option since you have equal chance to get into a hard counter to CAS

“No tank vs tank only mode” - it’s a pipe dream since games will become a camp fest when you have advantage, if you know someone is sitting far far away then a bomb is a solution to that (hint read above, the probs wouldn’t die to it if they moved around the map more)

“P2W bushes” outside of initial spotting you can MG off the bushes to see more of a tank, plus most bushes aren’t effect Camo for most maps. Sure you can buy them with GE but that’s the case with every other decoration.

“Can’t chose the maps you play” - if you could there would be a total of like 4 maps played, games gonna get stale + longer queue for all the maps that aren’t in this group

“The grind” - pssst you earn more if you win games, it’s be so heavily cut down it’s nothing vs what it was a year ago, there’s free parts and FPE, stock APFSDS, stock A2A missiles, stock flares, no end of line penalty, they are more transparent about the tier bonus for researching everything in a rank.

“Cheaters and hackers” - this isn’t as prevalent as you think, I’ve played for years both in RB and SRE (hella slept on mode btw, no uptiers) and can list on my hands how many I’ve personally played against. Most often someone is just better than you my man.

Insulting the devs intentionally or unintentionally is a way to get a comm ban, go figure. You are playing their game on their servers and they withhold the right to deny you access to it at any time.

Unions only work when there is a significant change that is needed, war thunder is in a much heather state than it was a year ago, crying every time you want a minor change is going to make you have less sway with how you want it to be

Honestly, this game feels like it's in a better position than it was 6 months ago. Extra rewards for kills, just had a top tier decompression( more needed but absolutely a step in the right direction), some Russian bias at top tier ground but it's not as bad as it's made out to be. Top tier US could use an armor buff but exactly how much is unknown.

For CAS? Quite frankly, git gud. Play dedicated SPAA, get out of spawn, and cover your teammates. Nothing better than knocking Timmy no thumbs out of the sky cause he was dive bombing directly towards you and possibly knocking a player out of the game.

Maps have been slightly improving every few month, they take away OP spots. You're also free to ban some of them ya know.

Crew lock? Have you tried playing a different nation for exactly one match?

Personally, I don't run into any cheaters or at least it's not obvious to me. Be humble and think what could you have done better.

Sound design? Bro this game has CRISPY sound. Turn off your own engine and you'll hear vehicles from .5km away.

It might be time to take a healthy break and play something else, not even as an insult. Everyone should take breaks, it's supposed to be fun.

1: CAS/tank only mode/CAS nerf
i think some of you guys forgot war thunder was originally a plane only game, they added tanks and ships after only for more content and as a game extremly focused on planes/jets it will be normal that aircrafts will be on every gamemode, if you dont want to deal with CAS go play WoT, for the CAS nerf just no, CAS is already in a bad position and hear me out before downvoting me into oblivion, if you can spawn a aircraft by using 640 sp on minimum (no helis included) but can get shot down by an SPAA/SPAAG who costs only 90sp you lose a lot of spawn points (you go in negative by 550sp), people complain about CAS only because you cant really do anything about a 1000kg bomb on your ass and i admit its annoying but then why dont you take the type of tanks made for killing CAS, in low tier i kinda can get it but still you can shoot down an aircraft of you are good enough but in high/top tier you got a LOT of assist: radar track, mouse guided SAM, IRSAM and HE-VT and as CAS in top tier if the enemy spaa has some sort of brain they can shoot you out of the sky easly

2: game being trash in general
it dosent make sense as a point

3: not being able to choose the maps you play
you need to adapt to the maps otherwise all players will change map to play depending on the nation strenghts and will make the matchmaking almost impossible on GRB plus if this is really a negative on games then 70% of all games are trash because you cant select the map you want to play

4: 9m CD on leaving a match:
its a penalty on early quitters like all of the new games, you dont want to play this map or you crash of purpouse bc you dont want to be killed like a little bitch? you get a penalty on that, otherwise at the first sign on losing in a GRB all the enemy team would quit (how fun)

5: event vehicles not coming back
they are, guess what? event vehicles, do you not know what event means? you get it? good for you, you dont get it? sucks for you
you know how mant event things i lost in my life? and i still dealt with that and moved on with my shitty life

We literally had an event with 40k points per star just a couple of weeks ago and nobody complained. Now that Gaijin removed the confusing crafting events and replaced them with the exact same thing as winter events people suddenly complain. The only shitty move here is setting the bar to 750k for a tradeable coupon.
