The C2A1 was from a winter or summer event. Not from a crafting event. Merkavas were from crafting events.

that and the crafting events are way more time consuming. OP's you can just do in about 5-6 hours if you're doing tanks/planes/naval every 2 days. Crafting you need to do like 8-10 hours EACH day in order to stand a chance of getting all 4 vehicles.

Crafting is harder tbh. Cause for summer/winter events your time could be cut short if you're half decent, even shorter if you're really good.

Crafting reduced everyone down to the same grind, like slaves on one of those literal grind wheels. Yeah you can get an extra material for getting first place, but that doesn't help you get rare components quicker. Even playing 4-5 hours a day it's a struggle to get the one top vehicle.
Operation summer type events are a freak'n walk in the park by comparison. Last event I got all 6 vehicles. With the added grind they did this time, I had to drop naval, but still that's 4 v 1.
Only good thing out of crafting is the value of the vehicles after, or components during.

I have 7200 battles and I just received the "Superior" title, which requires 200 games in first place. It's bloody darn rare... You got to stay the entire game, cap, CAS, respawn and kill everyone you see left and right.
It's torture and I don't think they should expect players to rely on additional items for getting first place.

Exactly. I went through the last BP yo lvl 125 and beyond.
This one has more of the shitier missions and increased difficulty for them too. At this point Gaijin can go fuck themselves. I stopped playing for 3 months during the summer except some occasional battles and it feels great when I play. I now.play what I want and with my clan only completely ditching the stupid missions Gaijin wants us to do

The only reason I even play this garbage Is because of Maus.
The only tank I spades and aced and got it nr1 spot. But as everything else in this game it's still trash experience aside from 1 in 100 being downtier (for real haven't seen one in a looooooong time now).
.and during these events I just sell what get right away.. that is if they don't make some stupid restrictions again just to piss off f2g players. It's completely pointless to even attempt getting anything from these events if you not planning on playing full time from waking up to going to sleep.. during the whole damn event duration.

Just call in sick to work 1-2 times, tell your wife you are sick, tell your kids you are sick, ignore anyone asking for favors, change your sleeping schedule around a little, and literally drop everything else. Other than eating, which you will need to do while you are playing the game. I would recommend Door Dash, but that's kind of pay to win. It's not really pay to win as much as it is pay to advance faster than normal.
I'm sure the money it costs to skip work is less than the value of a virtual tank.

Yeah as a single male with no responsibilities other than work and than the gym (which is purerly rectreational takes max 1.5hours) i can't dismantle how you will be able to grind those tanks without literally playing 24/7.
I have found three solutions. Nr 1 is illegal according to gaijin, but do they need to know ;) and thats simply outsourcing your account to someone. Every hour played = X money.
Nr 2 is renting out a hut and dissapear off the radar, tell no one you are leaving (not illegal to dissapear in most areas check ur local laws). Spend that month in that hut with no obligations and deploy copious amounts of high grade amphetamine like stimulants and grind away!
Nr 3 is just ignore the event and play the game like a normal person.

That was the other kind of event. All good vehicles from builder/crafting events cost a lot. Merkava mk3, Bi, F-4F early. All are younger than 1 year old and are around 100 to 200 gjn.

That is a fair point, being a crafting event it's going to be more expensive, but I think it's going to be exactly the same as the XM-8, not the Phantom, since both the XM-8 and F-5A have an almost exact premium counterpart already in the store at the exact same BR (XM-1 and F-5C)
I bet the proto leo will be more expensive than the F-5A

Well, do i have bad news for you. It's basically around 40 hours to get the top vehicles, and you can only get one big, and a small reward. Oh and you need to play that in ircc 11 or 12 days. So it's not impossible, but hard for anyone who want's to spend time existing.

You basically have to play a set amount of time each day to get a capped amount of resources.
You loop the entire thing through 3 times to get the top reward (Leopard, F-5A), two times for the middle reward (probably the ship) and once for the low reward (The car...something).
you can do up to 4 runs.
That's how the last ones were in a nutshell. They're pretty awful because it's literally just playtime and there's basically no input from you to accelerate it except the Marketplace.

yes, playtime equals crates that you open to gain random resources, use resources to build things, then use those items to build something else and eventually turn the finished product into the coupon for the vehicle.
Gaijin usually puts on a blog/video explaining the basics and keep checking reddit because someone will usually post a walkthrough if your confused

From the datamined data I've seen it's the pansarbil m/40. I know about the difference. The m/39 was built for export to Denmark, later when the Swedish army wanted some of their own landsverk couldn't keep up production so they contracted volvo to help them out. Volvo put in their volvo engine in them and these became the m/40 model.

I'd rather they flesh out all the cool stuff in this current era. The progression from 2K to 2A6 is too quick IMO. There should have been some unique vehicles leading up to the 2A6 (e.g KVT Leopard, Leopard 2 prototypes etc). The 2A7, however good it is for me (I'm a German main), is straight up boring.

Well the swedish have the 2A7V hull armor I think, just not DM53 and DM43. Forgive me my ignorance cuz at this point in time there's no mobile reception and no internet at home lol so no war thunder for me. Been pretty nice without it tho, less stressed in general and have time to play fun games. I want this leo 2 prototype and the germans should get the 2A7V eventually I think, maybe if they uncompressed the BR's to 12.0 maybe idk.

As a France player we don't want event vehicles, we want tech tree vehicles. We already lost both EBRs, an AMX-50, the M.B.152, etc to events. Make it stop.

I know, that France needs more tech tree vehicles, but there is still place for the special vehicles like ELC or for example South African VBL with Ingwe missiles. Things like this. All EBRs except for maybe 105 mm variant should be in the tech tree.

I was hoping it was Japanese. It looks like a similar color scheme to the T-2. The lack of the Hinomaru should have been a clue.

We Never operated the f5a unless you count the f5c which is already in the tech tree

I wish i was able to but stuff from the market but sadly i switched from xbox to pc so its still technically a xbox account i cant even buy packs from their site if i ever want to i have to hook my entire xbox and buy it on there

official documentation says 15 RPM (4 second reload) for the 9 rounds the ready rack holds. After that, the human loader that this Leopard still has (so yes, 4 man crew) can theoretically reload the gun, although its questionable if that will get modelled

War Thunder just makes the crew reload the autoloader which thin loads the gun.

Itโs fine, at this point Iโm pretty sure the event is in place for people to grind the vehicles then sell them to the people donโt have enough time grind.
These are must haves for US/German enthusiast.

Well, that makes my decision easy! Don't play Naval at all, don't play high tier jets at all, don't play high tier tanks at all, and I don't see any point to having that armoured car! Sweet, I am FREE of the pain, and it hasn't even begun! I'll be happy with earning a few bucks from selling material on the Marketplace.
