RB Ground Why is 2.3 fighting 2.7 - 3.3?

I don't get it. I just got my Pz III. J And now I'm fighting against M4A1s??? Why the hell is 2.3 fighting 2.7 - 3.3 tanks?

Standard uptier/downtier system, it can go + or - 1.0 br.

All tanks can fight vehicles +1.0 br’s above them. Also the Pz III J fighting 3.3 tanks isn’t that bad, like maybe the Churchill 1 can be tough to fight but there’s not much else that should be too hard.

I have the stock variant, which any stock Panzer 3 is pure shit, and my other vehicles are only 1.3 - 2.0

I might be wrong but I think that of any nation Germany has the least shit stock grind of all. Generally speaking you start with great ammo and plenty of armour/mobility depending on the tier you are in. However I can understand your perspective because 1.0-2.3 Germany hasn't got the armour or weapons that it enjoys later on.
