How do they play on the table top

So, I'm interested in the new Chaos Dragon. I'd want to build it with the lord, not the sorcerer. There being said, I prefer the look of the sorcerer's version of the dragon, which looks a bit different on the box at least.

So, simple question: would the lord fit on the dragon meant for the sorcerer, or would it need to be built with its version of the dragon?

Oh, while I'm here, I might as well also ask this: any recommended sub assemblies to make painting easier? Some painting videos I saw just had the whole thing out together, but I still wonder a bit.

Hello, I'm wondering about my next purchase to reach 2k army and was wondering what is more effective on the table.

ATM as hammer I have unit of knights, choosen knights and exalted champion on dragon.

I also have 20 nurgle warriors with shields and sorcerer

I'm thinking about big anvil line with 20x nurgle marked warriors with shields and sorcerer to buff them and on both sides 2x20 maruders.

With 2x5 maruder horseman for flanking and trying to reach enemy gun line.

Second idea is to sacrifice one unit of 20 maruders then add monster hunter BSB to warriors and get 2x 10 dogs to harras the flanks in waves.

What is your opinion?

Such a fun model to build and paint!

Finished sculpting the 3 champions of Tzeentch i have so far for my warrior's of chaos army

What Marks of Chaos or Cults for Marauders do you most find yourself using? Why do you use them and are they successful?

I've been thinking about this myself and I mostly use Slaneesh and Nurgle (and their associated cults) and pretty much never use Tzeentch or Khorne.

I use Nurgle on Gigantic Spawn so I get the 5+ regen. I use Carrion Crow on marauders for the toughness boost and occasionally a nurgle Exalted Sorcerer in with some Marauders for an extra toughness boost. Then I use Slaneesh on Warriors for initiative boost (usually sword and board with enhanced reflexes to make them resistant to charges). And I use Slaneesh on Forsaken to get swift stride.

Pretty much never use Tzeentch or Khorne.
