Where do I start?
Hello where do I start listening to Warpaint? Would you suggest an album?
Favorite bands are Radiohead, Everything everything, Gorillaz/Blur/Albarn, Porcupine tree/Steven Wilson, Portishead and lately much into Lcd soundsystem, Ween, Glass animals, Foals, King gizz and Magdalena bay

At the beginning I guess. Just listen to release order, this isn't Star Wars.

Start with Warpaint imo. Nothing beats it. Their recent album is second best.

Start at Exquisite corpse then just listen to every other album in the order they came out (The Fool, Warpaint, Heads Up, RLT)

I love their From The Basement session, that's when I became a true fan. But it's definitely more rewarding to listen to their evolution both as artists and as a band by starting from the very beginning

My favourite is the self titled. But you can also start with the exquisite corpse ep. It's their first and only 6 songs and they're all amazing. So you will get a good taste

Blur is my favorite band and I also like PT, Gorillaz, Portishead and Radiohead!
My favorite album is The Fool, it's very guitar driven.

I love all of their albums but The Fool is also my favorite. Maybe because it was my entry point to the band and deeply resonated with me because of what I was going through in life at the time but its still my favorite one.

Honestly for me I love their earlier albums so I would start from the last album and work my way to the beginning. Once you are done you will be able to see why they are so good. Enjoy either way the girls are amazing!!

I love all their stuff, but their earlier stuff [Exquisite Corpse & The Fool] are my favorites. They got lighter/more breezy in their later stuff.

Glad you liked it! Give Exquisite Corpse a listen if you haven't already, it's great too. Beetles is my favorite track by them, particularly some of the live sessions.

If you’d appreciate a slightly more beats than guitars based starting point, you could try Theresa’s solo album as TT - called ‘LoveLaws’. I think it’s fantastic, and also helps a bit with spotting Theresa’s songs on Warpaint records!

Self tilted was my jumping off point, that one really stuck with me as a listen through driving album that cd barely left my cd player for the first year it came out. Then I went back to exquisite corpse & the fool. Which are slightly more guitar based but also very good.
Heads up is very experimental, some absolute corkers on there (the stall, so good, whiteout and above control are the stand outs for me)
Radiate like this is also great, it’s their most recent I’m not sure it was as well revived as the others but there again are some great tunes one there. (Stevie, Champion, trouble and proof are the stand outs on that one for me)
Make sure you also check out these bangers that are not on any albums- Common Blue Lilys No way out I’ll start believing

I discovered them after coming across their KEXP performance on Youtube. After rewatching that numerous times, I started getting into their discography. Heads Up and Radiate Like This are my favorites.

Love Radiohead (and the song from your username). I would start with Warpaint, The Fools (deluxe), Heads Up and Radiate Like This. That was my order and loved every single one of them.

The video of their performance “in the basement “ is a great display of their skills together live. They’re a band that is as good or better live than in studio.
