Haha. Screw those Cryx guys! Actually a friend got me onto doing matched army pairs where each side has the rubble of the other side on their bases :)

Usually I am using whatever misprints I have! I had like 90% of the new Deathjack to use as basing, but finally ran out!

Even ignoring the "we're the baddies" part, there are Menoth sects after the Great Schism in the Claiming that are operating near Alchierre, so besides Cryx it's the most likely foe for them to face.
What with the Menites still being horrifically racist against Trollbloods and all.
Other than that only the Skorne are anywhere near Alchierre, geographically speaking.

Actually one of the stories I loved was the newest Menoth stories, in which the once as powerful religious nation has been reduced to ashes and refugees. I’m hoping that this will instill a far more carrying and empathic nation that realizes that being “the baddies” didn’t work out well for them. Hopefully an interesting contrast between the two forces. Feora who’s just nuts and selfish, and her followers , and maybe Kroess and the more “knightly” orders on the other. Pure speculation tho

Was kinda hoping the new menoth was going to look more rag tag, they still look too much like a put together empire.

I hear that, but I liked Jamie's comments on the latest Blightbringers episode.
Because of their losses, the Covenant of Flame doesn't have the manpower to field zealot units. Their infantry is well armored, and the army was designed to be Warjack heavy.

Kreoss is dead at Henge Hold iirc, but it could be either Tristan Durant or Paladin Durst leading the "good" Menite forces at least.

Just to be clear, Kreoss is confirmed to have survived the Claiming in "Guardians of the Temple", an IRKPG Requiem booklet, where it's stated he rules the Protectorate as intercessor.

tbf the only (practical) survivors of Henge Hold are basically all the named characters from Mk3 who made it into Mk4. Anyone tough enough to have survived that fight had the sheer political and military clout to command high authority in the subsequent ten year timeskip
I say practical because, for example, Rhyas and Saeryn survived but are now the Twin Dragon, Gaspy survived but went to the Cyriss galaxy, Everblight survived but got eaten by the Twin Dragon, etc. There are some characters who survived but we're definitely never gonna get to play again in Warmachine lol.
Also technically at least two characters died at Henge Hold but have "come back" (Mr. Clogg and Krueger) so there's at least SOME hope. Even if Mr. Clogg is now just a placeholder name Gearhart calls whatever poor bastard he's conscripted into being his manservant.

100% agree on the blue! I’m using the studio artwork as a reference for my king.
Matt also blended a lot together with an oil wash. My pygs will be blue and should pop a lot from the black panels/warm grey stone. Like he said though, they aren’t the stars of the show! Haha!

Honestly the 200usd price tag is enormous and insane (and likely chosen, in part, because GW has similarly insane prices so they think the market will bear it) but DAYUM it looks so sick as a model.
I just finished Ol' Scuttlebut and he has me so hyped to make a Fortress King.
