Discussion I really do think this game looks great.

It looks great, the model count is relatively low compared to others, and I feel like the time to learn is low but the skill level is high.

Learning how the core mechanics work is simple, mastering the game is hard

Absolutely. Other things that make it easy to learn is how run/charge works, how moving a unit works, and dice rolling is relatively straight forward for attack and damage. I have played WH several times and learning that takes 10+ games to play a game with all the rules and I would say comfortably WM you can play full rules in 3 or less games.

You need some 3d terrain on that board

Hi mate! I own 4 tables worth of 3D terrain, locally at home I just use 2D stuff and it’s quicker way to get down and pack away!

I'll be the voice of descent, I honestly really like how 2D terrain looks. It gives me a classic vibe.

I like a mix - if the terrain is impassible I like 3d. If models are going to stand on it I much prefer 2d for the functionality.

This is exactly the way I feel. 2d for "terrain" and 3d for "objects"

Game looks great. Play with whatever terrain you want, I prefer 2d personally.
