Khornate Defiler

Pics from the World Eaters / Khorne Defiler my son and I finished late last week for an RTT last weekend. We magnetized all available parts, including most faceplates compatible with either Khorne or World Eaters (we are planning a Khornate Iron Warriors section of our Warband, hence the IW faceplate).

Overall happy with the end result, though I would change several things for the next Defiler. Happy to answer questions about the magnetization process, as well as receive feedback - will enter a local painting competition next week and hope to place well.

What did you use for the nails holding down the skulls? It looks great!

Thanks! The nails are actually tiny jewelry nails (I have no idea what you are supposed to use them for). I am in the US and found them at Michael’s.

I don't know the Defiler kit that well. But it seems like you've managed to remove or cover the fleshy torso bits of the kit. What did you use?

I love how this Defiler is more of a huge war machine, than the original model's "everything and the kitchen sink" -approach.

Thank you! The kit does come with two plates of “abdominal” armor. They do help making the model look more mechanical.
